Party Tips for Weight Watchers

Judy Mazel, author of the best selling book “The New Beverly Hills Diet” , gives these practical tips for weight watchers, when going to parties:

Don't use your social life as an excuse. Make a commitment before going to the party and stick to it. Remember, nobody can make you taste anything.

Before starting eating , check it all out. Look over the whole spread-everything –including desserts. Then, whatever your choice , enjoy yourself. Just eat as a human being, one bite at a time. Always remember: it´s not how much you eat in how short a time, it is how long you can make the pleasure last.

No mixes other than water or soda with alcoholic beverages. Champagne is the preferred alcoholic beverage. Always purchase your breakfast fruit for the morning after the party in advance, so it is home waiting for you.

Weigh yourself every day-no matter what.
