Ecuadorean tennis player Geovanni Lapentti made it to the second round of the Indianapolis ATP Championship with his victory on Wednesday over French Cyril Saulnier. Lapentti, who had previously won over American Mashiska Washington, beat Saulnier with partials 6-4, 5-7, 6-2, the same day that the German Nicolas Kiefer had a victory over the also French Anthony Dulpus by 7-5, 6-4. The tournament has a 575,000 dollar prize.
